Burntside Lake is a large, deep lake located in northeastern Minnesota near the town of Ely, and is a part of the Superior National Forest. The lake covers an area of approximately 7,313 acres and is renowned for its big lake trout and walleye.
In addition to its natural beauty, Burntside Lake is surrounded by several parks, campgrounds, and resorts, making it a popular vacation destination. The area also offers hiking and biking trails, hunting opportunities, and other outdoor recreational activities for visitors to enjoy.
