The Gunflint Trail is so much more than a 57-mile paved national scenic byway. Once upon a time, the Gunflint Trail was a primitive trail used to move goods on foot or via dogsled to the port of Grand Marais on Lake Superior for trade. Today, it’s a literal gateway to one of the last truly wild areas of the country, the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW). Along the way to the wild, you’ll find lodges, outfitters, local shops and restaurants and kind, adventurous folks willing to help you find great trails, amazing fishing spots or favorite places to stop and enjoy a little time with Mother Nature.
About our prints: We only use Epson Brand Printers, Epson inks and Epson Enhanced Matte Paper to ensure our high quality standards and attention to detail is consistent with every print you purchase from us. Every print is made by our family owned small business and personally inspected.
Please note that some color tones and intensities may vary slightly from online to in person, but the heavy stock premium matte paper nicely enhances the rich colors in Mark’s artwork.
All of our prints include a white printed border, designed to look great when placed directly into a frame without the need for an additional mat.
