The North Shore of Lake Superior is a 154-mile stretch of rugged, dramatic coastline extending from Duluth, Minnesota, northeast to the Canadian border at Grand Portage. Often described as "the crown jewel of the Midwest," it is characterized by ancient basalt cliffs, pebble-strewn beaches, and dense pine forests that overlook the world's largest freshwater lake.
