Minneapolis Chain of Lakes Sailing || Minnesota Landmark Art Print

Giclée Fine Art open edition print of an Original illustration by Mark Herman

Nicknamed the "City of Lakes", Minneapolis is abundant in water, with thirteen lakes, wetlands, the Mississippi River, creeks, and waterfalls. Minneapolis has its origins as the 19th century lumber and flour milling capitals of the world, and, to the present day, preserved its financial clout. Bde Maka Ska (previously named Lake Calhoun) is the largest lake in Minneapolis and part of the city's “Chain of Lakes” (the others being Lake Harriet, Lake of the Isles and Cedar Lake) is where you will find many sailboats and windsurfers.

About our prints: We only use Epson Brand Printers, Epson inks and Epson Enhanced Matte Paper to ensure our high quality standards and attention to detail is consistent with every print you purchase from us. Every print is made by our family owned small business and personally inspected.
Please note that some color tones and intensities may vary slightly from online to in person, but the heavy stock premium matte paper nicely enhances the rich colors in Mark’s artwork.

All of our prints include a white printed border, designed to look great when placed directly into a frame without the need for an additional mat.
