The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, affectionately known as the Arb, is a 1,200-acre public garden and research center operated by the University of Minnesota. Located in Chaska, Minnesota, it's renowned for its beautiful display gardens, nationally recognized tree collections, and extensive natural areas including woodlands, wetlands, and prairies. Beyond its scenic beauty, the Arboretum is a hub for horticultural research and education, playing a vital role in developing cold-hardy plants like the Honeycrisp apple and conserving native species. Visitors can explore miles of trails year-round, enjoy the gardens, or participate in diverse educational programs, events, and workshops for all ages.
